4. Twig Wreaths :

Twig wreaths are made by wiring some kind of twigs to a single or double wire ring. They can be plain - made only from twigs - which gives a real rustic feel and is sturdy for exposed exterior walls where sun and weather can be a problem. They can be embellished in some way, like this "Twigs and Pods" to give a more dramatic effect. They can be made from strong grasses or even small shrubs. The natural more neutral colors appeal to many people. This particular wreath is fairly large thus shrinking it for the display at left (making it actually appear smaller)

5. Heart Shaped Wreaths :

This heart shaped wreath is made on a circular form. Most are made on a heart shape, of course. The difference is most noticed at the top, where on the circular form there is no indent. Skillful use of color can offset that. Either way, they make great romantic gifts and great valentines. The color is your choice, but the size is only variable if I build it on a circular base. If you want it on a heart shaped base, they are only sold in one size as far as I know, and that size gives you a 24" wreath.

6. Flame wreaths :

Flame wreaths are my own particular takeoff on the heart shaped valentine. Flames require fuel just like a loving relationship does, and so this is "my valentine message to the world." The write-up is on the last page. I am tickled when someone orders a flame wreath for I feel I've found in them a kindred spirit. They in turn receive a beautiful wreath that's also a conversation piece. But don't worry, I won't hate you if you order a traditional heart shape. After all, it is your wreath.
