7. Flag Wreaths :

This made at the request of a special friend, can obviously be done in any style, a few different sizes, and with the flag design of any country. The background foliage in green and light blue is reminiscent of the sky and trees that share the glory of the flag (and here hide the edges of the foam rectangle on which the flag is made).

8. Big Wreaths : Over 30"

Big wreaths are stupendous! They require, as you would expect, the opposite of small wreaths. There has to be at least some larger more massive material for the wreath to look balanced. This can be done by using material that is large in itself or by grouping large masses of the same material. This wreath uses both techniques. The huge wreaths (over 36") are a challenge in that they are heavy and have to be reinforced, so they won't sag out of shape from their own weight. Boxing and shipping skyrockets on them, and I have to get individual quotes on both before I can give you a price. But big wreaths are so impressive. I love making them and you will love looking at one. If you have a big space use a big wreath!

9. Rustic Wreaths :

Made more from foliage, stems and berries than from flowers, rustic wreaths get their impact from their texture. The colors of rustic wreaths are more neutral usually, but the arrangements can have bright accents. My rustic wreath tab includes grass wreaths, country wreaths, twig wreaths, and grapevine wreaths. Yes all of them are more "rustic," but I define "rustic" also as a distinct style, because foliage is so fascinating all by itself.
