This particular

of my customers.

Tough Door Wreaths for partially exposed and fully exposed exteriors:
I've had requests for door wreaths that will stand up to full exposure. This type
of wreath and the variations of it on the following pages 9&10 have
been my suggestions. There are so many new flowers and foliages coming out now
in latex (as in latex gloves), that many very tough wreaths can be made to look
like fresh floral creations with the exception that they last forever. These latex
artificial flowers and leaves sometimes look so real, I end up touching them just
to be sure. But - I realize that some people just don't want "fake"
flowers, and my specialty is everlastings after all, so you will see plenty of
real dried and preserved plant material among my creations. Even though the "fakes
are getting better" there is still a special quality in real plant material
that I love. | | |

received April 11, 2011 - Hello Sally, I live in Denver CO and have been the proud
owner of your Rain or Shine wreath since 2006. Although it still looks good, I
think it is time to replace it........)

Rain or Shine:Here
is the door wreath in the above photo placed on my south facing 34" studio
door. The door has no real protection other than a tree off to the left that offers
some afternoon shade. Some bad storms blow rain at and even under this door.
I've never kept a wreath of any kind on this door because of it's exposure,
but I always will in the future. Since hanging it, I have very quickly come to
value the greeting it gives me and my visitors. It enhances the appearance of
this entrance so much. For
the greatest longevity, the ideal exterior location for any outdoor wreath is
a door or wall protected from the elements and the intense rays of the high sun
by it's entrance structure. It's always wise to tell me the type of exposure when
ordering a wreath, but I have converted myself to believing every door deserves
one. | | |
