an airy grapevine wreath (pomegrantes, okra, orange slices, blue flowers, etc.)
from you last year (time passes rather quickly the older I get, so it may have
been several years ago). I'm fairly certain that I didn't thank you. It's about
time, huh? The wreath is absolutely perfect for me. The colors match beautifully
with the Pennsylvania countryside print (Arnold Palmer's late wife commissioned
the original for his birthday) that I purchased years ago. Although I take the

Shells arrived in Southern California Friday afternoon. By Sunday evening at 11:30
it was hanging on the door at the beach.
It is beyond gorgeous and looks just
right where it is, as though it belongs there. I could not be more pleased. The
tendrils look so pretty, too; they make the wreath really fit against the door.
The depth and detail of this piece are amazing as well as the fullness. The variety
of shells is perfect; it would take a lifetime to find those on the beach. I'm

appropriate for my windowsill? In any case, both of the arrangements are beautiful....elegant,
but "earthy" if that makes any sense.
For future thought....my den
is decorated in a sort of French country style...antique pine (some of it blackwashed)...predominant
colors are black, taupe and gold. I'm looking for something (swag, I guess) to
fill out a void space close to a landscape painting framed in gold) which has
the only real color in the room (vivid blue, green, some straw gold.) Any thoughts?
