"Summer Basket"

A dried flower arrangement in a wall basket. Loaded with foliage, seed pods and some flowers too. There's more than a slight mauve feel and accents of blue and lemon yellow. Lotus seed pods, okra, salal, cattails, German statice, ruby hyacinth beans, and polownian seed pods all combine to make a basket brimming full with summer's dried bounty.

Fall Swag - "Bittersweet Swag"

A fall swag with brown colors and bright bittersweet contrasting against it.These glycerin preserved magnolia leaves turned a rich chocolate brown with their undersides staying velvet brown. The bittersweet vine (with each individual berry hot glued on) winds through the piece and is complimented by Chinese lanterns, Germans statice, fountain grass seed heads, okra and a few seed pods from the northern catalpa tree. Not too large for a standard door as its width allows plenty of margin on both sides.
