A
dried flower wreath with larkspur, globe thistle, hydrangea,
German statice, coculus leaves, joe pie weed and the shells
collected from the Maine coast where the people would scoff
at calling them sea shells for they really are the "ugly"shells
of muscles rather than elegant sea shells. They look pretty
elegant in this wreath though. An overall feel of blues, and
purples. Absolutely stunning.

Of Summer Eden
A large wreath
of atypical fall color. No orange and tan here, but oh, what
a beautiful piece. The background is green crepe myrtle leaves
and variegated hosta. Flamingo feather celosia, magnolia seedpods,
green chinese lantern, ornamental oregano, blue statice, and
hydrangea all swirl around the focal point of two love birds
perched on dried magnolia blossoms. The total effect is stunning.
For matching like decor or for those who don't care for orange,
this piece doesn't celebrate fall with traditional colors but
definitely is the crowning glory for the end of summer.

This dried
flower wreath is absolutely enchanting. The delicate mix of
German Statice, hydrangea, daisies, dark red cascade roses along
with the neutrals of fall leaves makes for an effect that would
be perfect around antiques, lace curtains or tablecloths, or
in a little girl's bedroom. The four tiny molded bunnies make
a subtle focal point without detracting from the whole. The
color feel is more light mauve. |
